Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 18, 2025
Last Updated: March 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Videospot Online, Inc. d/b/a Beat Cancer with Me (“Beat Cancer with Me,” “BCWM,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your information when you visit our website, opt in to receive our emails or text messages, download resources, purchase products or memberships, complete forms, or participate in our community or related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By using our Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who We Are
Beat Cancer with Me is a DBA of Videospot Online, Inc.
Mailing Address: 5301 Rocky Creek Dr, West Jordan UT 84081
Email: info@thevideospot.net
2. Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, billing details, account information, support requests, survey responses, community posts, and other information you choose to submit through forms, purchases, or membership participation.
Because BCWM focuses on cancer support and health education, you may also choose to provide health-related information, such as cancer type, cancer stage, dietary preferences, wellness goals, or other health-related information you voluntarily submit. Health information includes more than diagnoses or treatments; it can also include information that enables an inference about a person’s health.
We and our service providers may also automatically collect technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, referral source, timestamps, clicks, and cookie or similar tracking data. On health-related sites, browsing and related data can itself be sensitive.
3. How We Use Your Information
We may use your information to operate the website and membership, deliver resources and purchases, communicate with you, send newsletters and updates, personalize your experience, provide customer support, improve our offers, maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
If you voluntarily provide health-related information, we may use it to better understand audience needs, personalize non-medical educational content, improve community relevance, and support membership operations. We do not use that information to diagnose, treat, or provide medical care.
4. Email and SMS Communications
If you opt in to receive emails from us, we may send you educational content, newsletters, updates, reminders, promotional messages, membership information, and other communications related to BCWM. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at [insert support email].
If you opt in to receive SMS/text messages, you agree to receive recurring or non-recurring text messages from Beat Cancer with Me at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact us at [insert support email or phone]. Carrier compliance materials require clear opt-in terms and disclosure of how messaging works.
SMS opt-in consent and mobile phone numbers collected for SMS purposes are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share SMS-related data only with vendors and service providers that help us deliver text messages, such as messaging platforms, telecommunications providers, and technical support vendors, and only to the extent necessary to provide SMS services. Twilio’s current campaign guidance specifically requires privacy policies to say that mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes, while permitting sharing with subcontractors that support the messaging service.
Consent to receive marketing text messages should be separate, voluntary, and specific to Beat Cancer with Me. FCC guidance states that prior express written consent for marketing texts applies to a single seller at a time.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We may use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, measure performance, and improve marketing and user experience. You may be able to control some cookies through your browser settings.
Because BCWM is health-related, you should use extra care with tracking on pages where users provide health information or where page visits could reveal sensitive health interests. The FTC advises businesses to take a broad view of health data and understand their data flows when collecting, using, retaining, or disclosing it.
6. When We Share Information
We may share information with service providers that help us run the business, including website hosts, email platforms, payment processors, community software providers, analytics vendors, customer service vendors, SMS providers, and contractors who process information on our behalf. We may also share information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate fraud, or in connection with a merger, sale, or business transfer.
We do not share SMS opt-in consent or mobile numbers with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional use.
7. Health-Related Information and Sensitive Data
If you provide cancer type, stage, or other health-related information, we treat that information as sensitive. Please share only the information you are comfortable providing and avoid submitting unnecessary medical detail through public comments or community posts.
BCWM is generally an educational business and community platform, not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse. HIPAA applies to covered entities and certain business associates, not to every website or wellness business that collects health-related information.
Because many businesses collecting health information are not covered by HIPAA, the FTC says they still need to handle health data carefully under the FTC Act and, in some cases, the Health Breach Notification Rule.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing Services, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal obligations. When health-related information is no longer needed, it should be deleted or de-identified where reasonably possible.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Data Breach Considerations
If BCWM experiences a breach involving covered health-related information, additional obligations may apply under the FTC’s Health Breach Notification Rule, depending on the nature of the data and systems involved. The FTC states that vendors of personal health records and related entities may need to notify consumers following a breach involving unsecured information.
11. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit certain uses of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails and opt out of SMS by replying STOP.

12. Third-Party Sites and Services
Our Services may link to third-party websites, tools, products, labs, or communities. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or practices of those third parties. Your interactions with them are governed by their own policies and terms.
13. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
14. International Users
If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
